Couple getaway, surprisingly great experience

The service here was really good, almost like a personal connection. They even drove us to the cruise terminal and gave us a short history tour of the island, which was unexpected but nice.

Dining at George Manor was a treat! Chef Michael de Beyer whipped up some of the best dishes we've ever had. The breakfast spread was to die for, and the friendly staff made our stay a breeze—shoutout to James and Valerie for their killer service!

The room could've used another nightstand for balance, and the barn door needed a bit of finesse to close. But honestly, everything else was smooth sailing!

It was just a good match for a break on a long journey in Galveston with a good price-value balance. The beautiful wood floors added a nice touch to the room experience despite the noise from above. Try to stay on the upper floor for a quieter stay.

The King Room with Garden View felt like home. The decor was charming and cozy. Plenty of natural light filled the room, giving it a warm ambiance. The breakfast spread was delightful. fresh pastries and seasonal fruits left me impressed. Will, the host, went above and beyond, even helping with luggage. The location near The Strand made everything accessible. However, the in-room safe didn’t work properly. It caused minor stress during my stay. Overall, the hospitality made everything worthwhile.

My king room with garden view was spacious and offered a cozy atmosphere for unwinding.
